Loving these running socks

I am absurdly devoted to my running socks. I never cared what socks I wore before training for and running a marathon ten years ago, but now I’m pretty picky.

My love is the Balega sock, seam-free, no-chafing, no-rubbing, no-blisters, cool wicking, and padded in just the right places. I save a lucky pair for all my long runs.

I used to wear these Wrightsock double layer anti-blister socks and those were a loyal friend for years. They’re still a strong second place and frequently show up under my winter boots.

Do you have a pair of lucky running socks or will you wear anything without holes?

  1. I’m interested in trying these! I have these sort of hilarious socks — I think they’re Nike. They actually have L and R’s on them to indicate which foot to put on. It seems a little ridiculous!
