Where Kids Run: At Sea

Kids clearly are ready to run too (actually, toddler Violet is also a huge fan of running, in her Frankenstein-like way…). Last month we embarked on a cruise for the first time ever, and one of my favorite places was the top deck, which featured a running track and the perfect vantage point to watch the sun rise (yes, rise…I’d run up there when Violet woke in the wee hours of the morning) and set. This picture is of my 7-year-old Laurel running at sea.
