Mustache Dache Post Race Wrap Up

What fun was had at the Mustache Dache 5k, a run I signed up for with our Fall Fun Run event. This was another one of those running for a cause races and I loved being a part of it.

Not only is the event for a great cause, it encourages a little bit of dress up! I love a good costume run.

My husband has been growing his mo’ for Movember and it’s been a long month!! But it’s totally worth it to be a part of this cause and to run this race. I joined him with a red stache of my own, as well as some duct tape mustache wrist bands. I had to keep it crafty!

I also invited one of my running friends, Kelly, to join me. We opted to not grow out our mustaches this year and just don a very colorful sticker mustache. And we both ran with these staches the whole 3 miles. Yes, it was sticky, sweaty, and itchy! Not sure how all the dudes do it!

And living in Seattle, we were expecting rain, but we were thrilled to have a dry, although cloudy, day. Wahoo!

The next best part to running the race… the after party. Food trucks were there to feed us their goods. We had some yummy breakfast biscuits from Seattle Biscuit Co. to fill our after-running tummies. Say hello to the EAT part of this whole gig!!

We loved this race and can’t wait to run it again. Looking forward to next November, to start the prep of training and growing out the stache!
