Boston Area Spring Flings
I need to sign up for a Spring Fling run y’all, and if you’re in the Boston area I’d love for you to come join me! I just did some prowling around on Cool Running and below are some options I’m considering. Two notes: 1) I love how so many races are building charities into their efforts. 2) There are about a bazillion races in Massaachusetts between now and June 20; I’m lazy and don’t like to drive far for races, so I picked ones that were in Boston proper or very close around.
April 13: iChase the Cure 5K for Kids Brain Tumors (Boston)
April 21: 5th Annual Race Against Extinction 5K Run/Walk (Boston)
April 28: DREAM BIG Stay FIT 5k Run/Walk (Roslindale)
May 4: Girls On The Run 5K (Boston)
May 11: Boston Marine Corps Honor Run 5K (South Boston)
May 19: Mystic River Herring Run and Paddle (Somerville)
June 2: 20th Annual Corrib Classic 5K (West Roxbury)
